Corrupted Video Files

Updated on 03 Oct 2023

Corrupted video files are video files that have been damaged or become unreadable due to various reasons. When attempting to play a corrupted video file, you may encounter issues such as a black screen or distorted visuals.

Common Causes of Corrupted Video Files:

  • Multiple Parts from Different Cameras: If your video upload consists of multiple parts captured by different cameras, the backend process may encounter difficulties. To avoid this, all parts should have the same resolution, framerate, and audio format. It is recommended to use footage from the same camera to ensure compatibility. If you still want to use parts from different cameras, you can import the footage into another program on your laptop, export it as a single file, and then upload it to TeamTV.
  • Corrupt Video File: When uploading one or more video files, it is possible that one of the files is corrupt. This can happen due to recording errors or issues with the camera. To identify a corrupt file, try playing all the parts you want to upload on your computer. If any of the parts fail to play, then you have found the problematic file. Unfortunately, TeamTV cannot process corrupt video files.
